Ebeco 120W Thermoflex Kit
The Ebeco Thermoflex Kit contains all you need for quick, simple installation of underfloor heating under a tiled or natural stone floor. Thermoflex is a self-adhesive heating cable mat in the form of a vinyl mesh with heating cable attached in a wave pattern.
Thermoflex is available in a choice of two heat outputs. The standard 120 W/m2 is suitable for most applications. The stronger 160 W/m2 is primarily intended for high heat loss rooms, such as conservatories, and must not be used on timber or combustible floor materials.
The cable that is used is similar to the cable in Ebeco Cable Kit. The difference is in the installation procedure. Thermoflex generally suits larger, regular shaped areas, whereas Cable Kit is better for smaller, irregular areas.
The kit includes the fully programmable EB-Therm 350 digital thermostat for maximum comfort and ease of use. Thermoflex is thin, taking up only 4 mm of build-up height.
The Thermoflex mat is rolled out and fixed in the same operation, making it simple and quick to install. When a change in direction is needed, the mesh can be cut as required, but do not cut the cable. The system is covered by a thin layer of self-levelling screed before tiling (using a flexible tile adhesive).
